You may have noticed this site was unavailable for the last few weeks – sorry if it disrupted your normal blog-reading schedule!

As you can see, I was having my whole look and site structure transformed. I’ve been thinking about doing this ever since I set up the website in the first place. Thinking about what was needed versus what was wanted. Debating what was most important. …. I’ve really taken a long time doing this to make sure it was done correctly. No fun having to re-do all your work and effort, right?

… let me show you what has been done!

First - my amazing logo, branding and marketing team – Rhyno Marketing.

Ryan is THE BEST. If you have any reason to need any marketing or design work contact Ryan.

Ryan really worked with me as long as I needed to come up with a logo that I was in love with. He and I went back and forth for … a week or 2? As long as I needed. Very different from those graphic designers who just give you 3 designs/2 edits and that’s it.

He’s always available to chat or to bounce marketing ideas off of. He helped me with my logo, my business cards, twitter background, my proofing site design and so many other things. I’ve got a bunch of ideas that I can’t wait to implement with the help of Rhyno Marketing. (Oh my word, I LOVE my business cards. They’re even better in real life).

Ryan is my absolute favorite person to have on my Teegan Photography team.

Second – my sweet husband went out with me on an afternoon to take a couple new images of me for the site.

It actually took a couple tries. The first time, we took Hazel with us, and she was not happy about it and kept getting in the shot. That dog cracks me up …

Andrew is not by any means a photographer (he jokes that he’s going to book some weddings and hire me for his second shooter). But he takes direction well!

I set all the manual settings on the camera, told him where to stand, told him when to take vertical/horizontal shots, told him when to step forward, I did any necessary crops or image editing …. Basically I did everything but hit the shutter. But Andrew was SUCH a big help to me to do this.

I love my husband so much … he’s my BEST friend and I’m so grateful to him for helping me along the way with this photography adventure.

Third - my new web design is by (Rhyno Marketing-recommended) CodyL

Cody lives in Arizona so we’ve never really met and only spoke on the phone once, but he really impressed me with the basic web site design on the first try! Seriously, the first mockup he sent me of the home page I was pretty much in love with.

It was important to me that I had/have a really easy-to-use content management system so Cody pretty much taught himself WordPress.

Amazing. Such dedication.

And now I have this lovely site that I love and that I can rely on for a long time to really showcase my wedding photography.

SO!

In celebration (because, really, weddings are about celebration) I will be offering 10% off of ANY wedding package that is booked before November 6, 2009*. Andrew and my 4th wedding anniversary.

This could be $200-$500 off your wedding package!

Very excited about this – I love weddings. Love them.

Please contact me with any questions or for further details!

*Please make sure you mention you saw this post. The wedding must take place by the end of 2010 but be booked with a deposit and signed contract by November 6, 2009. In addition, the discount does not apply to any a la carte products, but packages only*

The next step is a totally re-vamped website … I can’t wait. Be on the lookout.

In the meantime … here’s a little taste. Screenshot from my new Twitter background (thanks to Ryan)

P.S. The new look (for you old hands) with the white? and the photo header, etc? What do you think? It’s only temporary while the new site is built, but I’d still love input. What do you love/hate/etc?
