My SUPER COOL friend James proposed to his girlfriend last night …. and captured it on video.

He’s the New Media Specialist: American Museum of Natural History in NYC … so he always tends to have a camera around (which is why his new-wife-to-be wasn’t all that perturbed by his constant shooting and babbling at the beginning of the video.

I love James’ note : “Forgive the rambling at the beginning… I was working up the nerves to ask my girlfriend to marry me.”

So sweet. So cute. So happy for them!

James : I can’t wait to hear about your wedding plans! I’m going to start following Jen on twitter just for that reason!

Now THIS is a proposal

I know that I’m biased, but Andrew’s proposal was incredibly sweet.

He made me a scrapbook page that said “will you marry me?” complete with a designated spot to put in a photo of the 2 of us. Someday I’ll do an in-depth post about it.

That took planning, and effort, and a little bit of embarassment from shopping in the scrapbooking aisle at Target.

But this …. just look:

I don’t know anything about this couple, but in my imagination they’re both performers who met while working at Disneyland – and the groom-to-be enlisted their friends/coworkers to help with the proposal.

Can you imagine the wedding that will top this?
