The family had the perfect locations just around their home. When scheduling your portrait session, keep that in mind. There’s always somewhere in or around your house for great family photos.

What a pretty mom, huh?

Now, I was hesitant to post these, because it is a technique I want to try again in the future …

But, below is a series of photos that I had so much fun with. I asked mom and dad to sit, nicely, took some snaps, then called the kids away. Whispered to them that I was going to count to 3, and then I wanted them to run and tackle their parents. Gently, of course.

We made sure to leave enough time before sunset to tackle California Adventure. Smaller park, but just as (if not more) interesting nooks and crannies.

The ‘F’ is not for anything in particular. I think Jenny was taking pity on the F because no one ever takes pics with it. Unless your name is Fran, I guess.

I can’t tell you how excited I was they picked Disneyland for their shoot. ….

We shot at several locations around their home, then went back to hang out a little bit as we waited for sunset.
