I just can’t help but share some more ….

They’re just so cute!

When she sees photos I’ve posted online, Shannon comments things like “Me and Kiso!” (Kiso being a nickname for Keith) … or, really, any number of cute cute little nicknames they have for each other.

They got married last Saturday, and one of the toasts even mentioned their cute nicknames.

Wait. First of all, how come nobody told me about Orcutt Ranch?

That place is sooo pretty! And interesting! And you can do your outdoor wedding there! …. I’m just sayin’ ….

(sidenote: I love living in Los Angeles. I love that this amazing public park/orange grove/historic ranch can be just a few miles away from my home!)

These lovelies will be getting married THIS SATURDAY (fun fun fun!) …. so we took some time Sunday afternoon for some engagement photos…..

Jenny and Beth Disneyland engagment photos Featured

sidenote: I love Google Analytics. Not just for the usable data it gives me re: my marketing and advertising efforts, but because it’s so interesting to find out that someone searched for “anne of green gables inspired wedding” and somehow found my site! The internet is a wonderful thing.

I was looking at my Google Analytics stats the other day and noticed that Teegan Photography got traffic from a new source : DisneyWeddingBlog.com.

When I checked it out a little further, I found that Beth and Jenny’s Disneyland engagement photos were featured recently on DisneyWeddingBlog.com! So fun and unexpected!

sidenote #2: Brides and grooms : think about having your engagement photos taken in a place that is important to you. That’s what Beth and Jenny did. And I think that magic and connection to the location really comes out in the photos.

The second – and my favorite – part of Joe and Kaitlin’s Los Angeles engagement portraits …..

I forget where I found the link (maybe Green Wedding Shoes?) but I sent Kaitlin a link to an engagement shoot with a big bunch of balloons and she LOVED it.

I love when couples really think about details in their photo shoots. Not just matching shirts, or a pretty location. But adding balloons, or bicycles, or a pet or an activity like cooking, wine-tasting, theme park engagement portraits …. it’s all so fun. Just takes a little bit of brainstorming to come up with little details that help personalize your relationship.

These photos of Katie and Joe make me especially happy. …. I love how in love they are. I love how Joe can be such a great marine and fire-fighter but doesn’t mind being a little goofy with Kaitlin because it makes her laugh.

I love their relationship.

I love that their my siblings now.

My super cute sister-in-law is getting married in August – as I think I mentioned …

While I’m not going to be photographing her wedding, we did get a chance to shoot an engagement session a few weeks ago.

Katie and Joe are ridiculously cute. Individually and together.

They crack me up …

Guess what!

Yesterday morning Teegan Photography was featured on a wedding planning blog - So You’re EngGAYged!

From their site:

Now THIS is a proposal

I know that I’m biased, but Andrew’s proposal was incredibly sweet.

He made me a scrapbook page that said “will you marry me?” complete with a designated spot to put in a photo of the 2 of us. Someday I’ll do an in-depth post about it.

That took planning, and effort, and a little bit of embarassment from shopping in the scrapbooking aisle at Target.

But this …. just look:

Watch this amazing video of a fantastically creative marriage proposal that took place at Disneyland (Anaheim, CA)

I don’t know anything about this couple, but in my imagination they’re both performers who met while working at Disneyland – and the groom-to-be enlisted their friends/coworkers to help with the proposal.

Can you imagine the wedding that will top this?

Finally found a day all 3 of us could get together and did some engagement photos for Angela and Devo (reminder: I’ll be shooting their wedding in Italy! later this year)

The weather was just perfect. I love love love springtime in Southern California. I’ve missed it so … all those years I spent in Phoenix.

Angela is one of my best friends … in fact I’ve known her since … sometime in elementary school. She was a year ahead of me in school, so we didn’t really become friends until high school sometime. She played my mom in a play once. We have all kinds of great stories …

… and then Angela has another whole pile of stories on her own. Remind me to tell you about the freezer sometime.

That girl just collects adventures….. I can’t even imagine what is going to happen at the wedding!
