Recently, I spent a few days watching Orange County photographer Jasmine Star on a 5-day CreativeLIVE wedding photography course.

That girl is all kinds of awesome, and I want to have her and JD over for dinner sometime.

Over a 5 day period, Jasmine taught 5 students (who flew into Seattle from all over the WORLD) about how she runs her wedding photography business as well as had them all along to photograph a REAL wedding with her – and it was all live-streamed over the internet.

God bless the internet.

A lot of what she talked about with the students was her branding, and how she puts so much of herself into her blog and her website with the goal to CONNECT with or REPEL potential clients.

Totally reminded me of the way Andrew and I talk about the people we love:

They are of the race that knows Joseph. ….

I recently met with a couple to discuss their wedding photography …. and yes, we talked some about the wedding photography and the business-y part of it. But mostly, the 3 of us just sat for 2 hours in a coffee shop and TALKED.

I love finding clients that are of the race that knows Joseph.

….  and I think that I’m not going to bother explaining that. But if you know what I am referring to then you TOTALLY KNOW what I mean.

P.S. I love that Andrew knows too.
