Matt and Abriel say ‘I do’ at the Phoenix Zoo! (part 1 – rehearsal)

When Abriel emailed me about a year ago I was SO excited!

First of all – I love this girl. She’s one of those people who is always true to herself (which leads to her wedding being totally unique). And always looking out for other people. Andrew and I know her from our church in Phoenix.

Second – we did her engagement session at the grocery store, wedding at the Phoenix Zoo and reception at Chyro Arts! How much fun is that?

Third – her (now) husband, Matt, is absolutely one of those people I can be friends with right away. Hey, he played some zombie board game with Andrew. I mean, c’mon.

So, needless to say, I have been looking forward to this wedding for awhile.

We started at the Zoo for the (brief) rehearsal and then on to dinner …

Rehearsal at the zoo – their ceremony site overlooked the Savanna … mostly birds and little gazelles …
