Found out tonight that I got accepted to Photographik!!!

I applied about a week or so, and the staff there reviews your site/portfolio to make sure your work upholds the standards of their site.

A note from the main page and a sample from the about section:

Only elite wedding and portrait photographers are listed on our site. Membership is exclusive and granted only to those photographers who demonstrate excellence in the fields of wedding and portrait photography.

photographik’s purpose is three-fold. First, we are determined to become THE place to find talented, truly elite photographers providing wedding and portrait photography services to clients in the United States and all over the world. We screen every member’s online portfolio and admit only those photographers who possess a high level of artistic and technical aptitude. By offering the consumer a pre-screened directory of photographers sortable by region and area of expertise, we hope to expose the consumer to top notch photographers in their region as well as highlight the differences between cookie cut photography corporations and talented artists whose work, we feel, is far more compelling and beautiful.

There you have it. I am now considered in the ranks of elite photographers. This is extremely exciting to me because I admire all the other photographers accepted as well. It is such an honor to be there alongside them.
